My sister, Joni Klein, has urged me to get a real estate license over the past 30 years. She pointed out that for the past 40 years real estate has been my hobby. In the meantime, I have garnered quite a diversity of experiences, at least half of which has been some form of self-employment. Marketing and sales have been themes for most of my work, with some diversions. One of which took me to Korea for almost three years in the Army, as a Korean linguist. I was the last of my family to defect to the Western Slope from Denver, spending about 20 years in Montrose and the past 4 in Grand Junction. My proudest work was my contribution to raising my two adult children. During that time, I met the love of my life, Lisa, and acquired a blended family. We are proud parents of five adults now, with 16 grandkids.
